CityCraft Gains New Team Members
As CityCraft continues to assist distressed communities across North America, it is bringing new team members aboard to undertake research, provide on-the-ground support to our city clients, and communicate lessons learned to a broader audience.
In the Denver office, Grant Williams has joined the CityCraft team as Project Researcher. Grant’s background in energy science and engineering as well as his passion for urban dynamics, sustainability, community empowerment, and spacial justice make him a perfect fit for the CityCraft team. His ongoing research projects at CityCraft will help our partners develop strategic, evidence-based approaches to urban regeneration efforts. He is researching the impact and opportunities of co-working and shared office spaces to provide small businesses, freelancers, service organizations, and residents with entrepreneurial aspirations access to a community of expertise, mentorship, and affordable space. He is also examining the connectivity opportunities of multi-modal infrastructure, art and placemaking, parks and recreation, and transit to remove mental and physical barriers in historically isolated neighbourhoods.
Also joining the CityCraft team is Caitlin Carpenter, Director of Communications. In this role, Caitlin will deliver the firm’s media relations, digital, and marketing presence. With experience in communications and green building education for Canada’s largest green building consulting firm, Caitlin has an in-depth understanding of how to communicate complex development, building, and sustainability concepts to a wide audience.
We welcome Caitlin and Grant to the team. You’re sure to be hearing more from them in our blog and future communications.
